Former University of Georgia golfer David Miller shot 65 Friday to move to 13-under 131 and take a four-stroke clubhouse lead before play was suspended again due to darkness at the NGA/Hooters Tour Kandy Waters Memorial Classic at Mount Vintage.

Five players are tied for second at 135, including former Clemons All-American Ben Martin.

Other players with area ties who made the cut include: Scott Parel (71-68--139); Major Manning (70-72--142); Kyle Bradley (71-71--142); Chris Holroyd (73-70--143); Michael Green (72-72--144); Roberto Diaz (72-75--147); and Adam McKenney (75-73--148).

Hugh Royer III did not complete his round.

CHAMPIONS TOUR: In Pebble Beach, Calif., Mark Calcavecchia shot 8-under 64 on Friday at Del Monte to take a three-stroke lead in the Champions Tour's First Tee Open. Fred Couples, Bob Tway, Tom Kite and 2006 winner Scott Simpson opened with 67s at Del Monte, and Chip Beck had a 67 at Pebble Beach. Tom Pernice Jr. also was 5 under with six holes left at Pebble Beach -- the site of the final round Sunday.

EUROPEAN TOUR: In Crans-sur-Sierre, Swtizerland, Miguel Angel Jimenez shot a course-record 10-under-par 61at the Crans-Sur-Sierre course to take a three-stroke lead after the second round of the European Masters. He's at 14-under 128. Edoardo Molinari (66) and Matteo Manassaro (67) are tied for second place. Former Augusta State golfer Oliver Wilson is tied for 10th place after a pair of 68s. Jamie Elson, another former Jaguar, shot 70-72--142 and missed the cut by a shot.

NATIONWIDE TOUR: I n Cannonsburg, Pa., Geoffrey Sisk is leading the darkness-delayed Myland Classic. He's 4-under through 15 holes and 10-under for the tournament. Aiken's Kevin Kisner shot 68 and is tied for third place at 6-under 136.
