AIKEN - Chattanooga posted a final-round, 13-over-par 293 to coast to a seven-shot win today in the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate.
The Mocs won for the second time in their second appearance at Palmetto Golf Club.
Chattanooga finished with a three-round, 15-over-par 855 to defeat Clemson (862). Host USC Aiken carded a third-consecutive 294 to finish in ninth place at 882.
In the individual competition, Virginia's Ben Kohles turned in a 1-over-par 72 for a three-shot win over defending champion Robert Karlsson of Liberty (69). Kohles, who finished at 5-under-par 205, was one of just three players to finish under par.
