*Louisiana-Monroe beats Florida Atlantic 27-25*
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.(AP) -- Trey Revell ran for two touchdowns and Louisiana-Monroe held off a late rally to beat Florida Atlantic 27-25 on Saturday.
Revell, who was 18-for-25 for 207 yards, also gained 48 yards on the ground for the Warhawks (2-2, 1-0 Sun Belt Conference). Frank Goodin added a rushing touchdown.
Trailing 27-18, Florida Atlantic converted a fourth-and-goal with a 5-yard touchdown pass from Rusty Smith to Darian Williams to pull to 27-25 with 3:05 left. The ensuing onside kick was recovered by the Warhawks.
The Owls had one additional possession with 2:06 left, but they ran out of time near midfield.
Smith was 30-for-50 for 347 yards and threw two touchdowns for the Owls (0-3, 0-1). Alfred Morris had a rushing score for the Owls.
