*Central Arkansas beats Western Kentucky 28-7*
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.(AP) -- Robbie Park threw for 177 yards and two touchdowns to lead Central Arkansas past Western Kentucky 28-7 on Saturday night.
The Bears (1-1), of the Football Championship Subdivision, led throughout against the Hilltoppers (0-3), who are in their first season as a member of the Football Bowl Subdivision and Sun Belt Conference.
Park was 18-for-21 and the Bears had 407 yards of offense, including 193 on the ground.
Brent Grimes rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown and Leonard Ceasar added 81 rushing yards for Central Arkansas. Ceasar had a 51-yard touchdown run to open the scoring for the Bears.
Darrius McNeal caught four passes for 100 yards and a touchdown for the Bears. Preston Echols, who had eight receptions for 87 yards, caught the Bears' other touchdown
Kawaun Jakes was 9 of 14 with 75 yards and rushed for 28 more for the Hilltoppers.
