*Florida, LSU square off at midfield before game*

BATON ROUGE, La.(AP) -- No. 1 Florida and No. 4 LSU briefly squared off at midfield about 30 minutes before kickoff.

After the Gators were done with their pregame warmups, they gathered at midfield and started to jump around. Fans started to boo.

The Tigers weren't about to let the Gators jump on the tiger eye that covers most of the 50-yard line, and most of the players ran toward midfield to defend their turf.

Officials quickly stepped in and no contact appeared to be made between the teams. After a quick encounter, each squad ran off the field in opposite directions to its respective tunnel.
