*Daniel sets school passing record as Missouri romps Nevada*
COLUMBIA, Missouri (Ticker) -- Chase Daniel tossed four touchdowns and set a new school record for career passing yards as sixth-ranked Missouri cruised to a 69-17 triumph over Nevada on Saturday afternoon.
Daniel entered the contest just 52 yards shy of former Tigers quarterback Brad Smith's mark, and it did not take him long to establish a new record.
He connected with Jeremy Maclin on an 80-yard touchdown strike less than three minutes into the game for the record-setting pass, which gave Missouri a 14-0 lead.
Daniel, who completed 23-of-28 passes for 405 yards, led the Tigers to scores on each of their first eight drives before being pulled midway through the third quarter.
