*Boise State looks to keep rolling against Idaho*

(9) Boise State (9-0) at Idaho (2-8), 5:00 pm EST

MOSCOW, Idaho (Ticker) -- Boise State is coming off a blowout win against Utah State, and it could have another one this week.

Battling fellow unbeaten Utah for a BCS bowl berth, the ninth-ranked Broncos visit Idaho on Saturday in what has been a lopsided rivalry over the last decade.

Last season, Boise State routed the Vandals, 58-14, at home for its ninth straight win in the series. Among recent results were 65-7 and 70-35 victories for the Broncos in 2004 and 2005, respectively.

Boise State has not lost to Idaho since 1998, and it will take a monumental upset for the streak not to continue this weekend.

Last week, the Broncos had their way with Utah State, 49-14, moving one step closer to a sixth Western Athletic Conference title in seven years.

Boise State (9-0, 5-0 WAC) can clinch at least a share of the conference title with a win over Idaho.

More importantly, Boise State is looking to keep alive hopes of a second BCS berth in three years following the Broncos' memorable 43-42 victory over Oklahoma in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl.

Boise State (ninth) still trails Utah (seventh) in the BCS rankings, and the Utes have the advantage of a stronger schedule. Both must finish in the top 12 in the final BCS standings to be eligible, though only one would be picked.

Utah is coming off a 13-10 win over then-No.11 TCU and still has to play No. 14 Brigham Young. The Broncos have no games remaining against ranked opponents.

Still, Boise State is blowing through its conference schedule.

Against Utah State, four different players threw touchdown passes, as starting quarterback Kellen Moore had two while backup Michael Coughlin and receivers Tanyon Bissell and Vinny Perretta all got into the act with one apiece.

Idaho (2-8, 1-5), idle last week, was competitive in its previous game, a 30-24 loss to San Jose State on November 1, although it was not as close as the score suggested. The Vandals trailed, 30-10, in the third quarter before scoring two late touchdowns.

Idaho does feature the second-leading receiver in the WAC in tight end Eddie Williams, who has caught 54 passes for 687 yards and six touchdowns. He has had two games this season in which he went over the century mark in receiving yards.
