USC Aiken women ousted

In Morrow, Ga., the top-ranked and unbeaten Clayton State women stopped USC Aiken 83-66 on Saturday night in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional semifinals.

USC Aiken (22-7) was cold from the field, hitting just 35 percent from the field (19 of 54).

The Lady Pacers were led by Daniela Tarailo, who had 29 points. Tarailo hit only six of 20 shots from the field, but made all 15 of her free-throw attempts.

Kayla Mobley had 26 points for Clayton State (30-0).
