USC Aiken takes two from Georgia College

AIKEN — Daniela Tarailo hit four 3-pointers and scored 16 points to lead sixth-ranked USC Aiken to a 59-39 victory over Georgia College on Thursday night in a Peach Belt Conference women’s basketball game.

Brittany Hill added 10 points for the Lady Pacers (14-2, 7-2).

In the men’s game, Re’mon Nelson and Jesse Seilern scored 18 points each to lead USC Aiken (11-5, 7-2) to an 87-70 win.

Nelson became the 10th player in USC Aiken’s NCAA Division II era to score 1,000 points. He now has 1,013 points in his Pacer career. The senior point guard scored 16 of his 18 points in the second half. USC Aiken’s all-time leader in steals also had a game-high seven assists to go along with three rebounds, one block and a steal.
