USC Aiken women fall to North Georgia

In Dahlonega, Ga., Jaymee Carnes had 18 points and 18 rebounds, leading North Georgia to a 57-50 win over the third-ranked USC Aiken women.

Carnes, who leads the Peach Belt Conference in rebounding at 10.5 per game, helped the Lady Saints handle the Lady Pacers on the glass. North Georgia outrebounded USC Aiken 50-35.

Porsha Martin led the Lady Pacers (13-2, 6-2) with 14 points. Daniela Tarailo chipped in with 11.

Stephanie Huffman added 11 points for North Georgia (6-9, 4-4). Keeley Chester added 10.

USC Aiken has now dropped two of three after starting the season 12-0.
