USC Aiken men lose first soccer match of season

In Young Harris, Ga., the USC Aiken men’s soccer team dropped its first match of the season on Wednesday.

The Pacers (1-1-2) were stopped 3-1 by unbeaten Young Harris (6-0-0) in the Peach Belt Conference match.

The Pacers are 0-1-2 in conference play while Young Harris is 2-0-0).

After a scoreless first half, Young Harris went up 2-0, with goals at the 54:53 and 69:19 marks.

USC Aiken’s Sajih Daychoum cut it to 2-1 at the 77:53 minute, but Young Harris answered with a Khurram Shazad goal at the 85:53 mark.
