Jaguars drop baseball game at Anderson

ANDERSON, S.C. — Garrett Bernardo had two hits and two RBI as Anderson defeated error-prone Georgia Regents 9-4 on Thursday.

Jonathan Zalud and Brett Cash both had two hits and an RBI for the Trojans (10-18).

Connor Gilbert went 3 for 3 and scored twice for Georgia Regents (11-16), which committed four errors in dropping its fourth in a row. Hunter Boose had two hits, including a homer, and drove in two runs.

David Thompson (3-3) got the win, allowing one run on seven hits in seven innings.

David Bermudez (1-3) took the loss, allowing two unearned runs on four hits in two innings.
