PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. — The Georgia Regents men’s golf team shot 9-over-par 297 in the final round Tuesday and finished sixth in the John Hayt Collegiate Invitational at Sawgrass Country Club.
The Jaguars, who began the day fifth, finished at 15-over 879, 34 strokes behind winner Oklahoma State, which won its fourth tournament in a row.
Viktor Edin and Jake Marriott both shot 75 Tuesday and tied for 15th at 217 to lead Georgia Regents. Maverick Antcliff (75) tied for 41st at 224, Alex Wennstam (72) tied for 54th at 227 and Cody Shafer (75) tied for 58th at 228.
Central Florida’s Greg Eason (69) was the medalist at 205.
