Jaguars finish 11th in Royal Oaks Intercollegiate golf tournament

DALLAS — The Georgia Regents men’s golf team shot a final-round 369 Tuesday and finished 11th in the 12-team at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate at the Royal Oaks Country Club.

Alex Wennstam shot 4-under-par 209 (67-71-71) to tie for 15th and lead the Jaguars. Meechai Padung tied for 32nd at 214 (71-70-73), Jake Marriott tied for 49th at 218 (74-72-72), Viktor Edin tied for 62nd at 221 (73-74-74), Maverick Antcliff finished 68th at 230 (74-77-79) and Jackson Stroup was 69th at 234 (76-79-79).

Oklahoma State shot 340 in the final round to beat Stanford by 16 strokes.

Kevin Dougherty led the Cowboys and claimed medalist honors at 11-under 202 (63-68-71).
