The Augusta State men easily won a 36-hole event at Forest Hills Golf Club, but still it won’t be enough to qualify the Jaguars for postseason play.

Augusta State needed four wins in the last-minute tournament, but only faced three teams Saturday after Bethune-Cookman withdrew from the event Friday night.

That leaves Augusta State one win shy of .500, the prerequisite for postseason play.

Augusta State totaled 572, beating Georgia State by 17 strokes.
