Jaguars win at Lake Olmstead

Augusta State starter Kip Custer gave up one run in seven innings of work as Augusta State beat West Georgia 7-2 at Lake Olmstead Stadium on Saturday.

Custer (2-0) gave up six hits before being relieved by Zack Breaux, who went the final two innings, giving up two hits and a run.

Hunter Boose had two doubles and Kevin Dodson had one with 2 RBI for the Jaguars (3-1).

JD Sabo had four hits with three stolen bases for the Jaguars.

The teams play a doubleheader Sunday at Lake Olmstead Stadium beginning at 1 p.m.
