UNC Pembroke rallies past Augusta State men

PEMBROKE, N.C. — Shahmel Brackett scored a game-high 23 points to help UNC Pembroke rally for a 70-64 win over Augusta State on Saturday night.

The Jaguars led by seven points with just under six minutes to play before the Braves made their move.

George Blakeney had 17 points and 10 rebounds and Quamian Rose chipped in with 11 for UNC Pembroke (9-5, 2-2 Peach Belt).

Ryan Weems scored 14 points and D’Angelo Boyce added 13 for the Jaguars (7-3, 3-1), who have dropped three of four.
