USC Aiken women. The undefeated Lady Pacers are ranked third in the nation and have notched several key region wins.

WHO’S NOT

Clayton State men. Lakers lost Thursday night to Webber International, which sounds like an online school but is actually a private NAIA school in Florida. Clayton is 4-3 entering the start of its conference play today.

JAM THE JBA

The No. 15 Augusta State men are playing host to No. 20 Lincoln Memorial at 6 p.m. Wednesday at James Brown Arena. The Jaguars are playing their first game at the arena since Dec. 16, 1995.

HELLO, AGAIN

Also at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, the Paine men play at USC Aiken for the first time since December 1997, when the two schools had an on-court melee. Nice to see them playing again.
