Jags down Virginia Union to stay unbeaten

RICHMOND, Va. - Ryan Weems came off the bench to score 19 points and lead Augusta State to a 73-67 victory over Virginia Union on Sunday.

D’Angelo Boyce and Devonte Thomas added 12 points each for the Jaguars (4-0). Boyce also had six assists. Chad July grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds. Devon Wright-Nelson, who started despite a calf strain, had nine points and nine rebounds.

Virginia Union, a three-time national champion, dropped to 0-4 for first time since the 1963-64 season.
