USC Aiken center Alvin Brown. Huge disappointment that the league’s top defensive player didn’t make his grades in the fall and is academically ineligible. Brown’s a good guy and an even better player. Here’s hoping he refocuses his commitment to getting a degree and makes basketball his second priority.
The Augusta State men play host to their first home game in a month when they play Emmanuel College at 4 p.m., today at Christenberry Fieldhouse.
