Jags end three-game skid

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. --- Devonte Thomas scored 21 points to lead four players in double figures as Augusta State routed Flagler 92-55 in a Peach Belt Conference game tonight to snap a three-game losing streak.

Tye Beal and Devon Wright-Nelson added 14 each and Harold Doby had 11 for the Jaguars (3-4, 1-1 PBC).

Matt Clark had 12 points to lead Flagler (6-4, 0-3), which has lost each of its Peach Belt games by a least 30 points.

In the women’s game, Augusta State led by as many as 20 and cruised to a 60-49 victory, its fourth in a row.

Tiffany Jaecks and Brittany White scored 10 points each to lead the Lady Jaguars (5-3, 2-0). Laci Schreiber had a game-high 12 rebounds.

Taye’Lor Trotter, of Flagler (1-7, 0-3), led all scorers with 21 points.
