Jaguars fall, Lady Jags win at Francis Marion

FLORENCE, S.C. --- Liki Turner hit two free throws with 11.7 seconds left to give Francis Marion a 62-61 victory over Augusta State today in a Peach Belt Conference men's basketball game.

Marcus Wright scored 14 points to lead the Patriots (5-3, 1-1 PBC), who snapped a 14-game losing streak to the Jaguars.

Tye Beal scored a game-high 18 points for Augusta State (2-3, 0-1 PBC). 

In the women's game, Brittany White came off the bench to score a team-high 12 points and lead Augusta State (3-3, 1-0 PBC) to a 49-42 victory over cold-shooting Francis Marion.

Francis Marion (2-4, 0-2 PBC) shot only 26.3 percent from the field.
