NCAA golf tournament recap

Tuesday: Patrick Reed shoots 69 as Augusta State opens stroke play in ninth place at Karsten Creek Golf Club in Stillwater, Okla.

Wednesday: Paced by Henrik Norlander's 69, the Jaguars creep up the leaderboard and move into seventh place at 12-over 588.

Thursday: Needing to finish in the top eight to advance to match play, the Jags battle heavy winds to hold on to seventh at 24-over 888. Reed shoots 71 and is tied for 14th.

Friday: Mitch Krywulycz (left) wins a key match as the Jaguars advance to into the semifinal round with a 3-2 win over Georgia Tech.

Saturday: Carter Newman wins the pivotal match on the first playoff hole as the Jaguars eliminate top-ranked Oklahoma State on its home turf.

Sunday: Augusta State's Patrick Reed beats Georgia's Harris English to wrap up the Jaguars' second consecutive national title.
