BIRMINGHAM, ALA. — Comcast Cable has reached a deal with ESPN to carry the SEC Network.

The network, which launches Aug. 14, was already set to be carried on cable and satellite providers including Dish Network, Cox Communications, AT&T U-verse and Google Fiber.

The addition of the nation’s largest cable provider announced Friday means the SEC Network will be available in a total of 46 million households nationally, with negotiations with other providers continuing.

The SEC Network will carry at least 45 football games this season, beginning Aug. 28.

Ah yes, but they have not

Ah yes, but they have not announced if it's included in any packages or if you have to pay extra. Brace yourselves, fellow Comcast customers...

bd, I'm sure you're already

bd, I'm sure you're already thinking that's a done deal...they just haven't let anybody know it yet! If there's a dollar to be made...well, you know the rest.
I'm still wondering about WOW! And I'm still wondering why this paper hasn't even asked anybody. Do the reporters just "report" the news, or do any of them actually go out and find it?
Well, on second thought, this isn't actually about digging up info on a murder case, is it?
