Cincinnati rallies past Louisville in top 20 showdown

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Sean Kilpatrick scored 28 points, including six free throws down the stretch to help No. 13 Cincinnati (20-2, 9-0 American Athletic Conference) rally for a 69-66 victory over No. 12 Louisville
(17-4, 6-2) on Thursday night.

The Bearcats held the Cardinals to just two points over the final 5 minutes.

NO. 3 FLORIDA 62, MISSISSIPPI STATE 51

In Starkville, Miss., Casey Prather scored 16 points, Patric Young added 12 and Florida (18-2, 7-0 Southeastern Conference) beat Mississippi State (13-7, 3-4) for its 12th consecutive win.

AUBURN 74, ALABAMA 55

In Auburn, Ala., Chris Denson scored a career-high 32 points and KT Harrell added 23 as Auburn (9-9, 1-6 SEC) beat Alabama
(9-11, 3-4 SEC) to snap a 16-game losing streak against conference teams.

GEORGIA SOUTHERN 84, THE CITADEL 53

In Statesboro, Ga., Jelani Hewitt scored 22 points to lead Georgia Southern (10-12, 3-4 Southern Conference) over The Citadel (4-19, 0-8).

Hewitt hit 8 of 10 shots, as the Eagles shot 54 percent from the field, 50 percent behind the arc (11 of 22).
