Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. We’re almost halfway through the season and the league has yet to post a link for updated statistics on its Web site for the 2013-14 season. Sigh.
Mark your calendars
The elite Peach Belt men’s teams are starting to separate from the pack. The top two in the East are Georgia Regents (4-0) and USC Aiken (3-0), while the top three in the West are Georgia Southwestern (3-0), Montevallo (4-1) and Young Harris (3-1). Young Harris and Georgia Southwestern each have to travel to Aiken and Augusta, while Georgia Regents already has won at Montevallo.
Mark down Feb. 1, when the Pacers play host to the Jaguars, and Feb. 26, when Georgia Regents plays host to USC Aiken.
