Sam Dekker and Traevon Jackson scored 12 points each for Wisconsin (11-0). Kyle Kelm scored 17 points to lead Milwaukee (9-3), while Matt Tiby added 11.
The Badgers took control in the first half after shaking off some early shooting troubles. Brust kept the Badgers afloat during their struggles, hitting his first six shots, including four from behind the 3-point line.
Up 22-13 more than midway through the first half, the rest of the team found its stroke.
Wisconsin reeled off a 23-7 run that featured five 3-pointers by five Badgers to blow the game open.
NORTH DAKOTA STATE 73, NOTRE DAME 69
In South Bend, Marshall Bjorklund scored 26 points to lead North Dakota State to a road upset over Notre Dame.
Lawrence Alexander added 16 points and 14 rebounds to help the Bison (7-3). Pat Connaughton scored 21 to lead Notre Dame (7-3).
NDSU’s Taylor Braun stole the ball from the Irish in the final seconds, feeding it ahead to Kory Brown, who slammed it in to seal the victory. Braun finished with 13 points.
Connaughton scored a pair of breakaway baskets five minutes into the second half to give the Irish their first lead since 7:12 of the first half.
After the Bison scored six in a row get their lead back to three, Connaughton knocked down a 3-pointer to tie it with 9:20 to go, but the Irish couldn’t keep their momentum going.
BOSTON COLLEGE 63, BOSTON UNIVERSITY 52
In Chestnut Hill, Kristen Doherty led five players in double figures with a game-high 14 points as Boston College (5-5) defeated Boston University (3-7).
Lauren Engeln also had 13 points for Boston College. Danielle Callahan had 11 points was the lone starter to reach double figures for the Terriers.
