Asked on Monday about the possibility of Martinez, who has been limited to four games because of injuries to his shoulder, hip, abdomen and foot, playing again this season, coach Bo Peini said, “I don’t know if the chances are real good.”
FLORIDA STATE: Backup quarterback Jacob Coker will undergo surgery on his knee today.
Coach Jimbo Fisher made the announcement Monday. He says the second-ranked Seminoles won’t know how long Coker will be out until after surgery and they learn how much damage there is to the QB’s meniscus.
INDIANA: Might not have its top running back against No. 17 Wisconsin this weekend.
Coach Kevin Wilson said Monday that Tevin Coleman is likely to sit out Saturday’s game with a sprained ankle.
