UGA, Clemson on ABC Aug. 31

The Saturday, Aug. 31, football game between Georgia and Clemson in Clemson will be televised by ABC TV with kickoff set for 8 p.m., UGA announced today.

It will Georgia’s 73rd appearance all time on ABC. The Bulldogs own a record of 44-26-2 when playing on ABC.

That "2" bothers me....

I hope never to see another game where the score can end in a tie. Talk about kissing your sister.. I hated that!!

Go Dawgs!!! But I like Clemson too. Still, sic 'em dogs...

Darby, that tie occurred in

Darby, that tie occurred in 1983 and it was my very first college football game! I thought the same thing. However, I must've seen enough good on the red and black side because that's the way my allegiance went! Man, to think I could've swayed over to the urnge side because of that one game!! Good thing for me it was a tie and not a Clemson win that year, huh??
I'll be at this game and plan on bringing my family! I like going to Clemson for a game because they treat their guests with some sort of respect and good sportsmanship. Unless we're playing Clemson, I don't have anything against them.
