Connecticut women romp past Villanova

HARTFORD, Conn. — Stefanie Dolson scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead No. 3 Connecticut over Villanova 76-43 on Tuesday night.

Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis added 19 points for the Huskies (19-1, 6-1 Big East), hitting five of her six 3-pointers. Breanna Stewart chipped in 14 points.

Jesse Carey had nine points, all on 3-pointers, to lead Villanova (16-4, 5-2).

In Stillwater, Okla., Christal Caldwell scored 21 points, including five 3-pointers, and Averee Fields added 19 to help West Virginia (12-8, 4-5 Big 12) knock off Oklahoma State (15-4, 4-4).

In Newark, Del., Elena Delle Donne scored 26 points as Delaware (16-3, 7-0 Colonial Athletic Association) won its 11th game in a row with a victory over Northeastern (11-8, 4-4).

Delle Donne, a 6-foot-5 senior All-American, hit 10 of 16 shots from the floor, including 4 of 6 shooting from 3-point range.
