Chase Rettig completed 27 of 34 passes for 247 yards for Boston College (2-8), which is off to its worst start since going 0-11 in 1989.

In Charlottesville, Va., Michael Rocco threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Jake McGee with 6 seconds remaining and Virginia rallied from a 10-point deficit to stun Miami .
Rocco threw four touchdown passes and Virginia (4-6, 2-4 Atlantic Coast Conference) won its second in a row after a six-game losing streak. It was the Cavaliers third consecutive win against the Hurricanes (5-5, 4-3).
The victory kept the Cavaliers’ slim bowl hopes alive.
NORTH CAROLINA STATE 37, WAKE FOREST 6
In Raleigh, N.C., Mike Glennon threw two touchdown passes while Tobais Palmer returned a kickoff 100 yards for a score to help North Carolina State beat Wake Forest (5-5, 3-5) and secure bowl eligibility.
Logan Winkles and Asa Watson each had TD catches for the Wolfpack (6-4, 3-3).
