Augusta State University Jaguars' Derek Chang ties for sixth

In Windermere, Fla., Augusta State turned in its low round of the week and finished in a tie for 11th place in the Isleworth Collegaite Invitational.

The Jaguars closed with 8-over-par 296, counting 70 by Derek Chang, 73 by Meechai Padung, 74 by Cody Shafer and 79 by Robin Petersson.

The Jaguars opened with rounds of 305 and 303 and were tied for 13th place entering the final round.

Overall, Chang (74-74-70–218) tied for sixth place, Shafer (72-79-74–225) tied for 33rd place, Petersson (78-73-79–231) tied for 52nd place, Padung (81-77-73–231) tied for 56th place and Alex Wennstam (82-79-82–243) finished 73rd.

California closed with 289 to win by 18 shots over New Mexico.
