Pair lead Augusta State women golfers

In Florence, Ind., the Augusta State women’s golf team is tied for sixth place after a 36-hole first day of play in the 13-team Hoosier Fall Invitational.

The Lady Jaguars opened with 16-over-par 304 then had 310 in the afternoon round. They trail leader Indiana by 34 shots entering today’s final round.

Natalie Wille and Casey Kennedy have led the Lady Jags. Wille (70-75–145) is tied for fifth individually and Kennedy (74-72–146) is tied for seventh place.

Shannon Pak (82-81–163) is tied for 60th place, Christine Duschek-Hansen (78-86–164) is tied for 64th and Julia Stalbro (84-82–166) is tied for 70th.

Augusta State’s Stephanie Bennett (82-80–162) is playing as an individual and is tied for 56th place.
