WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Travis McKie had 23 points and 11 rebounds to help Wake Forest beat Georgia Tech 59-50 on Wednesday night.

The Deacons (12-14, 3-9 Atlantic Coast Conference) ran off an 11-0 spree in the final 6½ minutes to go ahead for good.

Glen Rice Jr. scored 12 points to lead the Yellow Jackets (9-16, 2-9).

In Columbia, Mo., Marcus Denmon scored 17 points to lead five teammates in double figures and Missouri (24-2, 11-2 Big 12) avenged an earlier defeat with a rout of Oklahoma State (12-14, 5-8).

NO. 8 NORTH CAROLINA 73, MIAMI 64

In Coral Gables, Fla., Harrison Barnes scored 23 points and North Carolina (22-4, 9-2 ACC) used smothering defense to rally from an eight-point deficit and beat Miami (15-9, 6-5).

NO. 16 MURRAY STATE 75, SOUTHEAST MISSOURI STATE 66

In Cape Girardeau, Mo., Donte Poole hit four 3-pointers and scored 25 points as Murray State (23-1, 11-1) clinched its third consecutive Ohio Valley Conference title.

NO. 18 INDIANA 71, NORTHWESTERN 66

In Bloomington, Ind., Cody Zeller scored 23 points and Verdell Jones had all six of his over the final 4:03 to lead Indiana (20-6, 8-6 Big Ten) past Northwestern (15-10, 5-8).

In South Bend, Ind., Jack Cooley scored 17 of his 22 points in the second half to lead Notre Dame (18-8, 9-3 Big East) over Rutgers (12-14, 4-8).

NO. 24 WICHITA STATE 73, MISSOURI STATE 58

In Wichita, Kan., seven-foot center Garrett Stutz had 21 points on 7 of 8 shooting to lead Wichita State (23-4, 14-2 Missouri Valley Conference).
