UConn routs Rutgers, continues home dominance

STORRS, Conn. — Stefanie Dolson scored 16 points, Tiffany Hayes had 14 and No. 3 Connecticut beat 13th-ranked Rutgers 66-34 on Saturday night for its 98th consecutive home victory.

The Huskies (21-2, 9-1 Big East) grabbed control with a 17-0 run midway through the first half.

Monique Oliver scored 15 points for the Scarlet Knights (17-6, 6-4).

NO. 1 BAYLOR 70, KANSAS STATE 41

In Manhattan, Kan., Brittney Griner scored 29 points in another dominating performance, and Baylor cruised past Kansas State to keep its perfect season intact.

Destiny Williams added 14 points for the Lady Bears (23-0, 10-0 Big 12), who extended the best start in school history in easy fashion.

Brittany Chambers had 10 points for Kansas State (15-7, 6-3).

NO. 4 STANFORD 91, ARIZONA 51

In Tucson, Ariz., Joslyn Tinkle had a career-high 22 points and matched her career best with 11 rebounds, leading five starters in double figures in Stanford’s rout of Arizona (13-10, 2-9 Pac-12), the Cardinal’s 17th win in a row.

Stanford (20-1, 11-0) hasn’t lost since being beaten at Connecticut on Nov. 4.

NO. 10 WISCONSIN-GREEN BAY 85, WISCONSIN-MILWAUKEE 39

In Green Bay, Wis., Julie Wojta scored 14 of her 16 points in the first half and Wisconsin-Green Bay (20-0, 10-0 Horizon League) remained unbeaten with a win over Wisconsin-Milwaukee (6-15, 2-8).

WEST VIRGINIA 66, NO. 14 LOUISVILLE 50

In Morgantown, W.Va., Asya Bussie scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead West Virginia (17-6, 7-3 Big East) to victory over Louisville (17-6, 6-4).

NO. 17 GEORGETOWN 65, CINCINNATI 54

In Cincinnati, Sugar Rodgers scored 19 points to lead four George­town players in double figures as the Hoyas (18-5, 7-3 Big East) beat Cincinnati (11-12, 2-8).

NO. 18 TEXAS A&M 62, KANSAS 51

In College Station, Texas, Kelsey Bone had a season-high 26 points and eight rebounds and Texas A&M (16-5, 7-3 Big 12) won its third in a row, over Kansas (16-6, 5-5).

NO. 20 GONZAGA 69, SAN DIEGO 58

In Spokane, Wash., Katelan Redmon scored 24 points, leading Gonzaga (21-3, 10-1 West Coast Conference) past San Diego (16-6, 7-3).

NO. 22 BRIGHAM YOUNG 83, SAINT MARY’S 47

In Provo, Utah, Jennifer Hamson had 18 points and nine rebounds and Brigham Young (21-4, 9-2 West Coast Conference) avenged an earlier loss by defeating Saint Mary’s (16-8, 7-4).
