VIEW FROM THE TOP

The USC Aiken men lead rival Augusta State by two games in the East Division. With three games to go (for each team) before their Feb. 15 rematch in Augusta, the Pacers are looking to retain or expand upon their lead. On the flip side, if the Jaguars can pull within a game of the division lead entering that Wednesday meeting, Christenberry Fieldhouse will be absolutely bananas that night.

TODAY'S GAMES

• Flagler at Augusta State, 1:30 p.m. (women), 3:30 (men).

• USC Aiken at Armstrong Atlantic, 5:30 p.m. (women) and 7:30 (men).

 MEN'S REPORTS

Augusta State (12-8, 8-4): The Jaguars are on pace to become the worst-shooting squad (.415) in Dip Metress’ eight-year tenure at Augusta State, eclipsing the .438 mark his first season.

USC Aiken (15-4, 9-2): The 24th-ranked Pacers are forcing a league-best 20.2 turnovers per game.

WOMEN'S REPORTS

Augusta State (9-10, 4-7): Guard Amber Peterson has scored in double digits in three of the past four games.

Paine (3-16, 3-12): The Lady Lions will use the week off to try to snap eight-game slide.

USC Aiken (16-3, 9-2): The 16th-ranked Lady Pacers trail Lander by two in the division but have two games left with the Lady Bearcats.
