Lady Bears run home winning streak to 34

WACO, Texas — Brittney Griner had 22 points and 12 rebounds as No. 1 Baylor stretched its school-record home winning streak to 34 with a 76-41 victory over No. 23 Kansas State on Saturday night.

The Lady Bears (19-0, 6-0 Big 12) are one of only two undefeated women’s teams in Division I.

NO. 2 NOTRE DAME 76, VILLANOVA 43

In South Bend, Ind., Skylar Diggins scored 20 points and Devereaux Peters added 19 as Notre Dame (19-1, 7-0 Big East) routed Villanova (12-7, 2-4) for its 16th consecutive victory.

The Irish’s national championship team won its first 23 games in 2000-01.

NO. 3 CONNECTICUT 88, NO. 21 DEPAUL 44

In Chicago, Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis scored 25 points and Connecticut 17-2, 6-1 Big East) breezed.

The Huskies snapped DePaul’s 28-game home winning streak.

NO. 4 STANFORD 65, WASHINGTON 47

In Stanford, Calif., Nnemkadi Ogwumike scored 17 points, Chiney Ogwumike had 15 points and 11 rebounds and Stanford beat Washington (10-7, 2-5 Pac 12).

The Cardinal (17-1, 8-0) won their 73rd consecutive home game and 65th in a row against a conference opponent.

NO. 7 RUTGERS 72, SOUTH FLORIDA 66

In Tampa, Fla., April Sykes had 23 points and 10 rebounds, Khadijah Rushdan scored 16 points and Rutgers (16-3, 5-1 Big East) beat South Florida (11-9, 3-3).

NO. 12 WISC.-GREEN BAY 80, CLEVELAND STATE 58

In Green Bay, Wis., Julie Wojta scored 12 points and Wisconsin-Green Bay set a school record by improving to 17-0 with a victory over Cleveland State (8-10, 3-4 Horizon League). The Phoenix are7-0 in the league.

NO. 14 TEXAS A&M 76, KANSAS 65

In Lawrence, Kan., Kelsey Bone had 18 points to lead four Aggies in double figures, and Texas A&M (13-4, 4-2 Big 12) weathered a second-half rally by Kansas (15-3, 4-2) before pulling away.
