No. 3 Notre Dame women tops No. 2 Connecticut

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Natalie Novosel sank six free throws in overtime and Skylar Diggins scored 22 points to help No. 3 Notre Dame rally to beat second-ranked Connecticut (12-2, 2-1 Big East) 74-67 on Saturday.

Novosel finished with 20 points, including a 10 for 11 showing from the line for the Irish (15-1, 3-0), who won their 12th consecutive game.

NO. 1 BAYLOR 57, IOWA STATE 45

In Ames, Iowa, Brittney Griner scored 26 points and her teammates contributed just enough to carry Baylor (15-0, 2-0 Big 12), off to the best start in school history, past Iowa State (9-4, 0-2).

NO. 4 STANFORD 67, OREGON STATE 60

In Stanford, Calif., Nnemkadi Ogwumike had 33 points and 16 rebounds as Stanford (13-1, 4-0 Pac-12) rallied to beat Oregon State (10-5, 1-3) and preserve a 71-game home winning streak.

MICHIGAN 73, NO. 8 OHIO STATE 62

In Ann Arbor, Mich., Courtney Boylan scored 19 points and Sam Arnold added 13 to help Michigan (13-3, 2-1 Big Ten) beat Ohio State (15-1, 2-1).

In Piscataway, N.J., April Sykes had 11 points and 11 rebounds as Rutgers (13-2, 2-0 Big East) beat Cincinnati (9-7, 0-3).

In Columbia, Mo., Chynna Brown scored 17 points to help Texas Tech (14-0, 2-0 Big 12) remain unbeaten with a win over Missouri (10-3, 0-2).

In Tampa, Fla., Adria Crawford, Tia Magee and Sugar Rodgers had 12 points each as Georgetown (13-3, 2-1 Big East) beat South Florida (9-7, 1-1).

In Milwaukee, Julie Wojta scored 27 points and had 12 steals, leading Wisconsin-Green Bay (13-0, 3-0 Horizon League) past Wisconsin-Milwaukee (4-9, 0-3).

In Providence, R.I., Teya Wright had 19 points and 12 rebounds to help Providence (9-7, 1-2 Big East) upset DePaul (14-3, 2-1).

MICHIGAN STATE 75, NO. 22 PENN STATE 65

In State College, Pa., Taylor Alton scored a career-high 20 points and Michigan State (11-5) held off a rally to upset Penn State (11-4).

OKLAHOMA STATE 70, NO. 23 TEXAS 51

In Stillwater, Okla., Liz Donohoe had 13 points and 13 rebounds to help Oklahoma State (9-2, 1-1 Big 12) upset Texas (10-4, 0-2).
