ATHENS, Ga. — Khaalidah Miller had 23 points and 11 rebounds, freshman Krista Donald added 22 points and No. 13 Georgia beat Appalachian State 81-37 on Thursday night.

Georgia (10-2) was able to let point guard Jasmine James rest her injured right knee. The Lady Bulldogs’ second-leading scorer watched the game from the bench in a warmup.

Meredith Mitchell moved from swingman to point guard, and Erika Ford started in Mitchell’s spot. But Mitchell left the game with blurred vision after getting poked in the eye late in the first half.

Georgia coach Andy Landers believes James and Mitchell will be ready for the Lady Bulldogs next game, agaianst Furman on Wednesday.

NO. 4 STANFORD 90, CAL STATE BAKERSFIELD 48

In Stanford, Calif., Joslyn Tinkle had career highs of 20 points and 11 rebounds to go with three blocks and two steals, and Stanford (9-1) routed Cal State Bakersfield.

Freshman Bonnie Samuelson scored 14 points and Chiney Ogwumike added 10 on 5 for 5 shooting in 15 minutes as the Cardinal followed up a commanding victory against sixth-ranked Tennessee two days earlier and extended their school-record home winning streak to 69 games.

NO. 11 OHIO STATE 79, WASHINGTON STATE 57

In Columbus, Ohio, Samantha Prahalis overcame a slow start to spark a second-half run and lead the Buckeyes (13-0) to victory.

NO. 20 PURDUE 73, IPFW 36

In West Lafayette, Ind., Courtney Moses scored 14 points to lead Purdue (10-3) in its final nonconference game.

NO. 21 DEPAUL 93, SOUTHERN ILLINOIS 67

In Chicago, Anna Martin scored 21 points to lead five players in double figures for DePaul (12-2)

NO. 25 VANDERBILT 64, FLORIDA STATE 59

In Nashville, Tenn., Christina Foggie scored 18 points and Stephanie Holzer had 17 to help Vanderbilt (11-1) hold off Florida State (6-6).

PROVIDENCE 73, CLEMSON 63

In Providence, R.I., Rachel Barnes scored 17 points and Teya Wright added 16 as Providence (6-6) beat Clemson.

Clemson’s Shaniqua Pauldo had 20 points off the bench to lead all players. Nikki Dixon had 13 for the Lady Tigers (4-6).
