Lady Bulldogs romp in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS — Khaalidah Miller and Jasmine Hassell each scored 13 points as No. 13 Georgia cruised to a 63-49 victory over Montana State on Tuesday in a Las Vegas Holiday Hoops Classic game.

Anne Marie Armstrong added nine points and seven steals for the Lady Bulldogs, who are now 9-2.

Jasmine James added eight points and eight rebounds.

Rachel Semansky had 15 points, five rebounds and five steals to lead Montana State (7-4).

NO. 3 NOTRE DAME 90, CENTRAL FLORIDA 38

In South Bend, Ind., Skylar Diggins scored 14 points to lead a balanced offense as Notre Dame cruised to victory.

Kaila Turner had 13 points, Natalie Novosel and Natalie Achonwa added 12 each for the Irish.

NO. 9 DUKE 107, UNC WILMINGTON 45

In Durham, N.C., Allison Vernerey scored 18 of her 22 points in the decisive first half, and Duke forced 40 turnovers in a rout of UNC Wilmington.

Tricia Liston added 18 points for the Blue Devils (8-2). They shot 57 percent, never trailed, built a 41-24 rebounding advantage.

NO. 11 OHIO STATE 88, SOUTHERN UTAH 50

In Columbus, Ohio, Tayler Hill scored 24 points to help Ohio State overcome a sluggish start.

Samantha Prahalis had 19 points and reserve forward Darryce Moore finished with 10 for the Buckeyes (11-0), who have won 22 of 23 dating to last season.

NO. 18 WISCONSIN-GREEN BAY 80, BALL STATE 39

In Green Bay, Wis.,Julie Wojta had 19 points and 12 rebounds as Wisconsin-Green Bay beat Ball State.

In West Lafayette, Ind., Sam Ostarello had 16 points and 10 rebounds to help Purdue defeat Oakland.

NO. 22 TEXAS 91, GRAMBLING STATE 38

In Austin, Texas, Chassidy Fussell scored 19 points as Texas romped past Grambling State.

NO. 23 NORTH CAROLINA 65, EAST CAROLINA 61

In Myrtle Beach, S.C., Chey Shegog scored 19 points and Krista Goss had 12 points to lead North Carolina to a win over East Carolina.
