JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- Hey Big Blue, here comes Big Red!
Louis Dale scored 26 points, Ryan Wittman added 24 and No. 12 seed Cornell upset fourth-seeded Wisconsin 87-69 Sunday, becoming the first team from the Ivy League since 1979 to advance to the round of 16.
The Big Red (27-8) will play top-seeded Kentucky in the East Regional semifinal Thursday in Syracuse, N.Y.
Cornell had a 12-point lead early, a 20-point lead late and very few moments of concern in between.
The Big Red became the lowest seed to advance to the round of 16 in this year's tournament and the first Ivy League team to get that far since Penn 31 years ago.
Jon Leuer led Wisconsin (24-9) with 23 points.

MICHIGAN STATE 85, MARYLAND 83
In Spokane, Wash., Korie Lucious hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to cap a frantic finish and give injury-depleted Michigan State (26-8) a victory over Maryland (24-9).
After star guard Kalin Lucas went down with a leg injury, the Spartans blew a 15-point lead in the second half. No. 5 seed Michigan State advanced to play ninth-seeded Northern Iowa in the Midwest Regional semifinals in St. Louis.
Coach Tom Izzo said Lucas likely has a torn Achilles' tendon, but that the diagnosis was not definite because Lucas had yet to have an X-ray on MRI, "but the prognosis is 85 percent of that."
Durrell Summers had 26 points to lead Michigan State.
Greivis Vasquez led Maryland with 26.
EAST REGIONAL
WEST VIRGINIA 68, MISSOURI 59

In Buffalo, N.Y., Wes Johnson scored a career-high 31 points and pulled down 14 rebounds and Andy Rautins added 24 points as Syracuse hit a dozen 3-pointers to beat Gonzaga.
Syracuse's storybook season -- the Orange were unranked before the season and made it to No. 1 for the final week before losing to Georgetown in the Big East tournament -- continues on Thursday. The Orange (30-4), the top seed in the West Regional, will play fifth-seeded Butler (30-4) in Salt Lake City.

Duke (31-5) advanced to play Purdue in a South Regional semifinal Friday in Houston.
PURDUE 63, TEXAS A&M 61 (OT)
In Spokane, Wash., Chris Kramer's drive past one defender and layup over another 6 inches taller than him with 4.2 seconds left in overtime sent fourth-seeded Purdue (29-5) into the regional semifinals with a victory over fifth-seeded Texas A&M (24-10).
Texas A&M's B.J. Holmes got a final, frantic chance to win the game with a rushed 3-point try from in front of his bench at the buzzer, but it hit short on the rim to ensure a sixth regional appearance in 12 NCAA Tournaments dating to 1994 for Purdue.
Kramer led the Boilermakers with 17 points.
Bryan Davis led Texas A&M with 17 points and 15 rebounds.
