GREENSBORO, N.C. — Mott Hyde hit a two-run homer, while Dusty Isaacs and Sam Clay combined for a shutout to help Georgia Tech beat Clemson 3-0 in the Atlantic Coast Conference baseball tournament.

Isaacs (7-5) earned the win on Friday by allowing one hit in five innings, while Clay allowed just three hits from there for the ninth-seeded Yellow Jackets (35-25). They finished 2-1 in pool play and will advance to Sunday's final if top-seeded Miami (0-2) beats No. 4 seed Duke (1-1) on Saturday.

Garrett Boulware had two hits for the fifth-seeded Tigers (36-23), who also finished 2-1 in Pool A. Georgia Tech has the head-to-head tiebreaker on Clemson if Duke loses to Miami, while a Duke win would create a three-way tie that sends Duke to the final due to its higher regular-season league winning percentage.

Clate Schmidt (5-7) took the loss, allowing eight hits and two runs in 8 1-3 innings.
