COLUMBIA --- Police say Appalachian State wide receiver Coco Hillary and his brother, backup South Carolina quarterback Aramis Hillary , both former Strom Thurmond High standouts, have been arrested after a South Carolina traffic stop.
Authorities say West Columbia officers pulled over a car driven by 22-year-old Coco Hillary around 12:15 a.m. Thursday because he was doing 46 mph in a 35 mph zone.
Police say Hillary had a blood-alcohol level of 0.11 percent and was charged with driving under the influence. Nineteen-year-old Aramis Hillary was charged as a minor in possession of alcohol.
Aramis Hillary has been indefinitely suspended under South Carolina team policy, while Appalachian State officials say they are reviewing Coco Hillary's status.
Authorities didn't know if either man had an attorney.
CLEMSON: Former Tiger stars C.J. Spiller and Jacoby Ford passed up the chance to run the 40-yard dash in front of a full house of NFL scouts, coaches and personnel at Clemson's pro timing day.
"There really was no need to run it. Why waste the energy?" said Spiller, the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year. "Everyone knows that I'm fast."
Spiller and Ford, who also ran track together at Clemson, proved that in February at the NFL's scouting combine in Indianapolis.
Spiller clocked 4.37 seconds, second-best among running backs to California's Jahvid Best . Ford outdid his teammate -- and everyone at the combine -- with 4.28.
Both Spiller and Ford took part in everything else, including agility and position drills as a steady rain soaked Clemson's practice field.
"It wasn't the best conditions," Spiller said. "But you never know, it might rain in the game so I was able to get some work done."
Spiller drew a large crowd of NFL evaluators, including Carolina Panthers coach John Fox . All watched intently as the Tigers' leader in all-purpose yardage showed off his vertical leap and standing broad jump.
"They all wish they could have him," Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said.
Mock drafts have Spiller somewhere in the middle of the first round and Ford most likely going in the third.
Several Clemson standouts, past and present, also worked out, including defensive end Ricky Sapp and offensive lineman Thomas Austin from last year's team and wideouts with NFL experience such as Airese Currie and Derrick Hamilton .
