In Rome, Ga., the Augusta GreenJackets held on to beat the Rome Braves 7-6 on Wednesday afternoon for their 11th consecutive victory.

Rome was down 7-5 going to the bottom of the ninth inning. With two outs, Felix Marte tripled, then scored on Jacob Dunnington’s wild pitch to cut it to 7-6.

After Jose Peraza singled, Dunnington struck out Eric Garcia to end the game.

Ben Turner had three RBI and Trevor Brown had two for Augusta.

Turner had a run-scoring single in the fourth inning and a two-run single in the fifth for the GreenJackets (27-18), who begin a road series Thursday night in Greensboro.
