A food drive at Lake Olmstead Stadium will kick off the Golden Harvest Food Bank’s fall collection campaign.
On Saturday night, ticketbuyers who bring five cans of food to the Augusta GreenJackets game can get an official team ball cap. Individuals can also sign up neighborhoods, businesses, civic groups or schools to participate in the “It’s Spooky to Be Hungry” food drive in October.
The GreenJackets play the Greensboro Grasshoppers. Game time is 7:05 p.m. For tickets or more information, call (706) 736-7889.
