GreenJackets get win over RiverDogs

Augusta 6, Charleston 3

In Charleston, S.C., Adalberto Mejia, the reigning South Atlantic League pitcher of the week, allowed three runs in six innings as the Augusta GreenJackets beat the Charleston RiverDogs 6-3 Friday night.

Mejia (9-7) gave up eight hits and had two strikeouts as the GreenJackets won for the fourth time in five games.

Jeff Arnold had two RBI for Augusta.

Dante Bichette, Jr. homered for Charleston.
