Shorebirds drop GreenJackets to salvage split of series

In Salisbury, Md., Wynston Sawyer drove in three runs as the Delmarva Shorebirds beat the Augusta GreenJackets 9-4 Saturday night to salvage a split of their four-game series.

Shawn Payne and Brett Krill had two RBI apiece for the slumping GreenJackets, who fell to 3-7 in August.

Augusta has an off day today before returning home to begin a three-game series against Lakewood on Tuesday.
