Suns rout GreenJackets, salvage split of four-game series

In Hagerstown, Md., Cutter Dykstra and J.R. Higley had two RBI apiece, helping the Hagerstown Suns defeat the Augusta GreenJackets 10-4 today to salvage a split the four-game series.

The Suns scored a combined seven runs in the seventh and eight innings.

GreenJackets starting pitcher Paul Davis pitched five solid innings, allowing three runs – two earned – striking out six, but had to settle for a no-decision.

Taylor Hill started for Hagerstown, giving up two earned runs in six innings.

Devin Harris had a two-run homer for Augusta, which opens a four-game series in Lexington tonight.
