GreenJackets take two from Intimidators

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – The Augusta GreenJackets swept a doubleheader from the Kannapolis Intimidators on Tuesday night, winning 7-1 and 9-3.

The first game was postponed from Monday night because of rain.

Andrew Cain drove in two runs in the opener, while Rafael Rodriguez went 3 for 3 and scored twice.

Kendry Flores (4-4) got the win, allowing one run on six hits in six innings. He struck out seven.

In the nightcap, Alberto Robles went 3 for 4 with three RBI for the GreenJackets. Ben Turner was 3 for 3 with three runs.

Joan Gregorio (3-0) picked up the win, allowing three runs on eight hits in six innings. He struck out two.
