Grasshoppers tag GreenJackets with third consecutive loss

The Augusta GreenJackets lost their third consecutive game in a 2-1 loss to the Greensboro Grasshoppers on Wednesday.

GreenJackets starter Kendry Flores received the tough-luck loss, allowing two runs over eight innings, striking out seven.

Augusta third baseman Mitch Delfino went 2 for 4 with a home run, his second long ball in as many games and seventh of the season.

The Grasshoppers received four scoreless innings from their bullpen, backing starter Mason Hope, who allowed one run over five innings.

First baseman Viosergy Rosa went deep for Greensboro, which was out-hit six to three by Augusta.
